As a result of our hard work, experience, expertise and professionalism, PSS Asia was awarded a long-term Maintenance Contract with Burrup Fertilizers Pty Ltd (BFPL), which includes: General Mechanical, Electrical Maintenance Works, Scaffolding, Coating and Insulation Works at their large-scale Ammonia Plant, located on the Burrup Peninsula in Karratha, WA.

Although the Total Turnaround Management of BFPL was assigned to PSS Asia, another entity, ATS (WA) Pty Ltd (ATS WA), one of its subsidiary companies, is carrying out the day to day plant maintenance work.

PSS Asia was also awarded Total Turnaround Management of the planned Major Shutdown at BFPL’s Ammonia Plant, which they rewardingly completed in mid-July 2008. ATS (WA) successfully performed Bolt Tensioning and Torquing jobs. Originally scheduled to begin in July 2008, Shutdown of the Ammonia Plant was brought forward by one month to begin in June 2008. This was due to a Gas explosion at the Apache operated Gas facility on Varanus Island in Northwest WA.
