PSS Asia has been awarded the total Turnaround Management of Major Shutdown Maintenance for BFPL’s Ammonia Plant in Karratha, WA.. The Shutdown was scheduled to begin on 1 July 2008 and resume Plant production on 17July 2008. Operations reserved handover to maintenance of the facilities from 3 July 2008 and to Turnover back on 15 July 2008. PSS Asia had its schedule for Pre-Turnaround mobilization of Cribs & Office facilities by 15 June 2008 and Supervisors and Pre-Turnaround crew by 20 June 2008. Scaffolding work was planned to start from 1 June 2008.
As a result of our hard work, experience, expertise and professionalism, PSS Asia was awarded a long-term Maintenance Contract with Burrup Fertilizers Pty Ltd (BFPL), which includes: General Mechanical, Electrical Maintenance Works, Scaffolding, Coating and Insulation Works at their large-scale Ammonia Plant, located on the Burrup Peninsula in Karratha, WA.
