We have business ties with Jinan Heavy Machinery Joint-stock Co., Ltd (JHMC), a large-scale Chinese Company who specialize in the Manufacture and Export of Machinery and other products for the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power plants, Mining, Metallurgy, and Coal industries.

PSS Asia has the capacity and manpower to undertake Pre-fabrication jobs in Australia and internationally as we have Fabrication facilities in both Malaysia and China.

THE Aqua-Milling® PROCESS

FAST SAFE CLEAN

The Aqua-Milling ® process is an approved method for pre-commissioning pipes in a new construction, prior to start-up operation and has been successfully applied in various maintenance jobs.

The Aqua-Milling® cleaning process embraces the most advanced water jet cleaning technology featuring more than one hundred and eighty customised cleaning tools. The remote-controlled Aqua-Milling® system allows the optimisation of all cleaning parameters, such as cutting speed and total overlap of cutting tracks, providing full surface coverage. A milling effect is used to significantly increase the water/ air impact above and beyond what conventional methods can achieve using ultra high-pressure.

This method has been developed to remove millscale and foreign materials left or built-up in the system. Water is the only element used in this process. Aqua-Milling® is listed in Engineering specifications as an approved alternative to Chemical Cleaning and Steam Blowing and has been successfully utilised by SHELL, HESS, ENRON POWER, FLUOR, BETHTEL, BROWN & ROOT, LITWIN, H.B.ZACHARY, KELOG, SIEMENS-WESTINGHOUSE and KTI.

This is a revolutionary cleaning method because it is safer, more efficient, environmentally friendlier and more economical. Traditional technology cannot compete with the Aqua-Milling® process with regard to cost, quality and safety standards.

The Aqua-Milling® process is capable of removing millscale from piping 5/8” (16 mm) up to 15’ (5 mt) in diameter and up to 1000 ft (305 mt ) in length with up to 20 possible changes in a 90 degree direction. Drip legs should have minimum 2” ( 5 cm) entries to allow the milling tool to enter the pipe.

What Aqua-Milling® can do for you?

• Cleans inside piping with a diameter range from ¾ inch (19 mm) to 15 ft (5 m)
• Performs cleans on piping up to 1800 ft (600 m) in length
• Cleans horizontal, vertical, u-bend and submerged piping
• Cleans fully plugged pipes and severe applications
• Special thrust system transports large volumes of debris toward pipe entry
• Removes extreme hard scale from delicate pipe material
• Containment of H2O and debris
• Cuts costs on Disassembling, Scaffolding and Welding
• Automatically shuts down if there is pressure loss
• No pipe erosion or deterioration
• The cleaning rig can be positioned up to 350ft (107 m) away from the job if necessary
• No damage to pipe material: Teflon, Graphite, Concrete, PVC, HDPE, Fibreglass, Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel

Plant Turnaround & Shutdown

PSS Asia possesses the capacity and manpower required to carry out a complete Turnaround Package and Project Management of any Petrochemical / Refinery Unit, acting as a Single Source Maintenance Contractor. Our personnel understand that Turnaround Management is critical in aiding the completion of each job within a specified time frame, in order to resume Plant operation. The types of jobs involved in Plant Turnaround/ Shutdown include:
